In order to make sure our device will properly fit, we decided to create an anatomically accurate drawing of our design. Our device overall will be 57 cm long with three regions of pressure. The first pressure region (located on the thigh) will be 22 cm long and will provide the highest level of pressure. The middle region around the knee will be 20 cm long and will have an intermediate pressure level. The last region (located on the calf) will be 15 cm long and will have the lowest of the three pressure. This pressure gradient is designed to minimize clotting and edema.
